Let’s see if the phone can write a better love song than this. We’ll start off with “love” and see if it can stay on topic. Hit it—- Love was my day and when I was cracked it was like it wasn’t even worse than the last night of my computer.... Holy shit that’s so moving and so current with the zeitgeist! My computer just broke literally last night! I have no idea why the phone went with “cracked” that was really out of the blue but I’m glad it went there. Gave it a pathos that my dumb love song so sorely lacks. I guess I suck.
lyrics
You wanted a love song. I'll give you ten. I hope that you find one you'll wanna listen to over and over again. Nobody knows it, but who cares? They all got their own songs to sing. And if they don't, we can share. Give em the ones that aren't really your thing. But you get first choice, and that one is yours. It always will be, even if you don't want it no more. It'll follow you round, like a dog. It won't ever leave you alone. Because you can't tell a love song to stop loving you and simply go home. I imagine you dancing, and it makes me cry. What I wouldn't give, to bring a little smidge of that kinda joy to your life. If I could only write a couple of lines that made you move. Then it would be enough. If it meant even that much to you. So I'll keep on trying. Wish I could do better. And I hope that someday we can sing it together.

No words to describe this. I believe if you like Spirit of the Beehive, you will like this band. Other highlights are Plants, And Again and Pretty Sure. So much good music out there. JerPz

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
