about

I’ve been guilty of misspelling “temperamental” a lot. I forget the A. But reminds me of long ago, when I helped grade some college art history quizzes. You got some crazy answers. People dating the great pyramids of Egypt sometime well into the 18th century. But so many of these kids lost points by calling tempera paint, that crappy stuff that has eggs in it, tempura, the delicious Japanese fried dish that may also have egg in the batter I’m not sure. The professor was ruthless. You called it “tempura” and you got that question wrong, no exceptions. Hope you enjoy this tuna.

lyrics

You and I should take a ride on a temperamental journey. Who knows if we will fight along the way? Oh won't you come with me tonight on a temperamental journey? Who knows if it will be alright, or ever end? One side I'm never on is the reason that you're gonna say. I don't try I only want it to rain. And if it won't I'll be there anyway. And if it does, well then you won't have to come out and play. You poor little boy feel the temperature rise. It's never boring when you need it to chill. Who's got the time to want to hurt you so bad? Who wants that kind of crime on their bill? No I don't mind if I belong. You don't ever have to put your phone away. I won't bite I only want you to stay. And if you don't, I'll be here anyway. And if you do, I won't get a minute of rest. Are you looking for another kind of temperamental journey? One that isn't looking tired of being drained? Why am I the only one who seems to like our temperamental journey? What's the use of getting high, when you're dead? Poor little girl there's no love in your eyes for the one you thought could meet your demands. Who's got the time to put up with all that? Maybe they got too much time on their hands. Everybody knows that you don't take it kindly, I can't fault you for believing in that. But give it just a second to bless. Because we all can't be what we expect. And I never said that I was the best but I could be wrong.
