Some words by Brian. A good chunk of em really. Shoulda been a ZF song. Was actually performed by the band once during the brief Jeb Bishop era, with completely different lyrics now long since forgotten by everybody.
lyrics
You get stupid when the stars align. We get even dumber when we step outside. What else do you think that we're trying to do, aside from lay down in the street to just die for you? It's been great. Thanks for playing. No whammies! Yeah the secret is it's all how you lie. You can turn it into whatever you like. Please read the chaos buried deep in the chyron. It's a conspiracy to keep the TV on, and the kick of the rays hits more guts than brains. I learned it from a rerun of Star Wars. All you ever really gotta do is just use force to obtain more gold for your chain. It ain't only one time a year this applies to, so if someone like me is a concern to you, take that get up and go and fill it with holes. May every comment to which you reply upon settle every little beef here to Taiwan, and in between we'll so gallantly stream it. You sure get stupid when the stars align. We get so much dumber when we step outside. While the insanity repeats in the chyron. A conspiracy to keep the TV on. Another way to fuck with your brain. Every channel that you subscribe to, will burrow its way deep inside you. Any day, this could change. I sure hope that it does. For everyone's sake.

No words to describe this. I believe if you like Spirit of the Beehive, you will like this band. Other highlights are Plants, And Again and Pretty Sure. So much good music out there. JerPz

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
